Appetizer (Antojitos) Bar
The Appetizer Bar offers a sampling of La Siesta favorites. The event will start with a display of homemade chips and salsa made at our local restaurant. The display will offer fresh, crisp tortillas chips and a selection of salsas including our Salsa Roja, Salsa de Crema, and Salsa Verde.
The next display is the Fruit, Cheese and Vegetable display with assorted dips.
The main presentation will be the appetizer display. Here you will find an assortment of entrée items:
Enchilada Suiza Casserole – A Mexican lasagna with layers of flour tortilla, shredded chicken, our famous Salsa de Crema, and melted cheeses.
Mini Seafood Chimichangas – Fresh Chesapeake Bay shrimp and scallops tossed with cilantro, ranchero sauce and other herbs and spices. Deep fried to a golden crisp. Topped with sour cream and guacamole.
Mexican Meatballs (Albondingas) – Flour tortillas topped with beans, beef or chicken, in a mild tomato sauce and melted cheeses.
Steak and Chicken Fajitas – Savory Strips of Marinated Grilled Chicken and Steak, with Sautéed Onion and Peppers to Wrap in Warm Flour Tortillas. All the Fixings are Included.
The condiment display will offer a variety of shredded cheeses, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, fresh guacamole, and sliced jalapeño peppers. Of course, any Mexican meal would not be complete without the addition of Mexican rice and refried beans.
The dessert display will offer our homemade Buñuelos and Strawberries with Chocolate Fondue! A perfect treat to end your fiesta!
The drink display features our non-alcoholic Sangria mix and our non-alcoholic Margarita Mix.
