Over 36 years ago, Papa and Mamma Zajur came from Mexico to the United States, bringing with them the warmth and of their homeland and a love for the family's traditional recipes. Later, they opened a small restaurant, appropriately naming it "La Siesta" after the Mexican custom of spending the mid-day break in the company of one's friends and family.
